Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for Thomas Lemar over the course of the summer transfer window.
According to the football transfer rumours in British Media (The Sun), Arsenal have reportedly agreed a deal in principle with Monaco winger Thomas Lemar.
The France international has joined AS Monaco from Caen for a fee in the region of 4.2 million euros in July 2015. The 21-year-old has a valid contract with AS Monaco until June 2020.
Thomas Lemar has played 94 times for AS Monaco since signing from Caen, scoring 19 goals and creating 24 assists in that time.
The 21-year-old is considered to be one of the best wingers in France.
The France international has been in outstanding form for AS Monaco last season.
Thomas Lemar has represented France at Under-17, Under-18, Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 45 caps and scoring 5 goals, before making his senior international debut in November 2016. As a member of France national football team, Thomas Lemar has won 7 caps and has scored two goals.
The France international was high in demand this summer, with him having enjoyed a sublime season for AS Monaco last term.
