Arsenal looking to loan Gini Wijnaldum

There has been numerous midfielders linked with Arsenal in past few months.

It’s claimed by British media that Arsenal are looking to loan PSG midfielder Gini Wijnaldum.

The Netherlands international joined PSG from Liverpool on a free transfer in July 2021. His contract expires in the summer of 2024.

In 22 appearances for PSG, Gini Wijnaldum has managed to score two goals, and create one goal for his teammates.

The Netherlands international midfielder has struggled to adapt to French football and he could be made available this winter.

Mikel Arteta wants to sign a new midfielder and Wijnaldum is one of the names at the top of his wishlist.

The Netherlands international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of midfielder Arteta wants to target in the winter transfer window.

The Gunners are in the market for just a handful of statement signings who can improve the first-team.

The former Liverpool man has the talent to play many roles in midfield.

The former Liverpool star is unsettled at Paris Saint-Germain and will look for a loan move away from the French capital, with the Gunners poised to pounce. Arsenal are one of the first clubs to reportedly register their interest in the signing on a short-term deal, but all will depend on whether PSG will be happy to let him go.”

Gini Wijnaldum has all the skillset required to be a success story at Arsenal. Therefore, it makes sense for Mikel Arteta to step up his attempts to bring the Netherlands midfielder to Premier League side.

Stylistically, he would be a great fit in Arsenal.
