Arsenal keen on Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas
Arsenal are showing strong interest in Keylor Navas.
The latest reports in England suggest that Arsenal are keen on Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas.
The 32-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.
The Costa Rica international was signed by Real Madrid in August 2014 from Levante for a fee of 10 million euros. The 32-year-old has a contract until 2020 with the club.
Since his arrival from Levante, Navas has conceded 150 goals and provided 49 clean sheets in 154 games for Real Madrid.
As a member of Costa Rica national football team, Navas won 86 caps.
Keylor Navas is out of the picture at Real Madrid, which has opened the door for a potential exit.
Unai Emery is a known admirer of the goalkeeper and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him this summer.
Arsenal are desperate to make an impact in the summer transfer window.
According to Caught Offside, “Arsenal are reportedly among the favourites to seal the transfer of Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas as he looks for a way out of the Bernabeu. According to Don Balon, the Costa Rica international is eager for a move abroad, with Arsenal up there alongside Juventus, Roma and Lazio as contenders for his next club. The Spanish outlet claim Navas would cost around €15million to prise away from Madrid after a season in which he’s rather harshly lost his place as number one to former Chelsea ‘keeper Thibaut Courtois.”
