Arsenal join the hunt for Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart
According to the football transfer rumours in British Media, Arsenal have joined the hunt for Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart.
Joe Hart has joined Manchester City from Birmingham for a fee in the region of 7 million euros in 2010. The 29 year-old has a valid contract with Manchester City until June 2019. Since 31st of August 2016 Hart was loaned to Italian club Torino until the end of this season.
Since his arrival from Birmingham, Joe Hart has conceded 347 goals and provided 137 clean sheets in 348 games for Manchester City. He also conceded 31 goals and provided 6 clean sheets in 23 games for Torino this season in all competitions.
The 29-year-old is considered to be one of the best goalkeepers in England.
Joe Hart has represented England at Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 27 caps, before making his senior international debut in June 2008. As a member of England national team, he won 67 caps.
The England international is a goalkeeper who has impressed many European Clubs in the last few seasons, and it is understood that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger would prefer playing him as a replacement of Petr Cech.
Premier League giants Liverpool and Everton are apparently trailing Arsenal in the pursuit of Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart.
How strong that interest is and whether Arsenal will make a summer move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
