Arsenal enter talks with Brondby for Anis Ben Slimane
Arsenal are reportedly one of many clubs keeping tabs on Denmark international Anis Ben Slimane.
According to the football transfer rumours in British media, Arsenal have entered talks with Brondby for Anis Ben Slimane.
The Denmark international joined Brondby from Akademisk BK on a free transfer in July 2019. His contract expires in the summer of 2023.
The 19-year-old has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in Denmark.
Ben Slimane has represented Denmark at Under-19 level, winning 7 caps and scoring 2 goals.
His impressive performances this season have apparently caught the eye of some of Europe’s big clubs.
Mikel Arteta is looking to shore up his midfield options and Brondby’s Slimane happens to be a target.
The Arsenal manager has been impressed by his performances this season and could make a move this summer.
According to the report, “Arsenal have reportedly made contact with Brondby over exciting youngster Anis Ben Slimane. The coronavirus pandemic is set to have a financial impact on clubs around the world, including Danish club Brondby. And Denmark’s BT has claimed the Gunners have registered their interest in the 19-year-old midfielder. Brondby are demanding just €5m for Ben Slimane, who has a single goal and assist in four league appearances this season. It is unclear whether Arsenal are prepared to meet Brondby’s demands.”
