According to the football transfer rumours in Spanish Media, Arsenal are edge closer to signing Real Madrid right-back Danilo.
The Brazil international was signed by Real Madrid in July 2015 from FC Porto for a fee of 31.5 million euros. The 25-year-old has a valid contract with Real Madrid until June 2021.
Since his arrival from FC Porto, Danilo has scored three goals and provided nine assists in 55 games for Real Madrid, including one goal and provided three assists in 24 games in all competitions this season.
The 25-year-old is considered to be one of the best right-backs in Brazil.
Danilo has represented Brazil at Under-20 level, winning 15 caps and scoring two goals, before making his senior international debut in September 2011. As a member of Brazil national football team, Danilo has won 16 caps and has scored one goal.
