AC Milan set to sign Fernando Llorente
AC Milan are reportedly one of many clubs keeping tabs on Spain international Fernando Llorente.
According to the football transfer rumours in Italian media, AC Milan are set to sign Tottenham striker Fernando Llorente.
The Spain international was signed by Tottenham in August 2017 from Swansea City for a fee of 15.1 million euros.
In total, Llorente has scored 13 goals and supplied 6 assists from 65 Tottenham matches.
Fernando Llorente will be high in demand this summer, with him having enjoyed a sublime season for Tottenham this term.
Milan are looking to shore up their attacking options and Tottenham’s Fernando Llorente happens to be a target. They are desperate to make an impact in the summer transfer window.
The Spain international provides a unique blend between a classic center-forward and the modern striker.
According to the Calciomercato, “Italian Serie A giants AC Milan are looking to sign English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur’s Spanish striker Fernando Llorente on a free transfer, as per Football Insider website. The 34-year-old, who has played a key role in the Spurs success in the UEFA Champions League this season, was informed by the club that he is not in their plans for the 2019-20 campaign.”

Stylistically, he would be a great fit in AC Milan.
Llorente would reportedly be interested in a move this summer, but if AC Milan do want him, they will have to beat those other interested clubs to his signature.
How strong that interest is and whether AC Milan will make a move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
