AC Milan considering a move for Allan Saint-Maximin
AC Milan are, quite clearly, in desperate need of attacking reinforcement.
As per Italian media, Milan are considering a move for Newcastle United winger Allan Saint-Maximin.
The France international was signed by Newcastle in August 2019 from Nice for a fee of 18 million euros. He has a contract until 2026 with the club.
The winger has registered one goal and three assists in 22 matches this season on all fronts.
Allan Saint-Maximin is one of the more likely players to be offloaded by Newcastle this summer and the list of suitors in the France international continues to grow.
His performances have seen him become the target of many European clubs including AC Milan.
The Serie A giants are looking to sign a winger and have identified the 26-year-old as potential transfer target. The report claims that AC Milan manager has extensively scouted Saint-Maximin and is considering a move for the winger.
AC Milan are desperate to make an impact in the summer transfer window.
The former Nice man is a dynamic winger, who possesses good technical skills and ball control. He has got the skillset to give Pioli more options in the final third.
According to the report, “AC Milan are eyeing Newcastle winger Allan Saint-Maximin. TMW says the Serie A giants are considering a move for Saint-Maximin if they lose Rafael Leao in the summer. The Portuguese forward wants to stay in Milan, but there has been no progress in negotiations for a new contract. With the 23-year-old’s deal expiring in 2024, Milan could be forced into a sale – boosting Chelsea’s transfer hopes. Consequently, the Rossoneri have identified potential replacements. Saint-Maximin is joined on the list by Club Brugge’s Noa Lang.”
