Sevilla make new bid for Udinese winger Rodrigo de Paul

Sevilla have reportedly made contact with Udinese over a deal to sign Argentina international.

According to the football transfer rumours in Spanish media, Sevilla make new bid for Udinese winger Rodrigo de Paul.

The Argentina international joined Udinese from Valencia for a fee in the region of 3 million euros in July 2016. His contract expires in the summer of 2023

De Paul has played 89 times for Udinese since signing from Valencia, scoring 14 goals and creating 16 assists in that time.

The 24-year-old is considered to be one of the best wingers in Argentina.

As a member of Argentina national football team, De Paul won 4 caps.

His performances have seen him become the target of many European clubs including Sevilla.

The report claims that Sevilla manager has extensively scouted De Paul and is considering a move for the winger.

Pablo Machín is a long term admirer of Rodrigo de Paul and believes he can get the most out of the Argentina international.

According to Football Espana, “Sevilla have made a €16m approach for Udinese winger Rodrigo de Paul who is also wanted by Milan and Inter, report El Desmarque. The Andalusian club had a €7m move for the 24-year-old, who has previously played in Spain with Valencia, rejected during summer and have now reinforced their approach. However, the Serie A club are said to be highly unlikely to be willing to sell the winger before this summer and are said to be demanding up to €30m for the player. De Paul has already netted six goals in 14 appearances this season and is increasingly a fundamental part of the Udine-based side.”
