With questions being raised concerning Philippe Coutinho’s future at the club, the Liverpool boss could well look to Timo Werner as an ideal replacement.

According to the report in British Media, Liverpool are believed to be interested in the Germany international, as are Spanish champions Real Madrid, and Werner concedes that he would like to move on to a big club soon in order to progress as a player.

How strong that interest is and whether Liverpool will make a winter move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
