WBA target Celtic midfielder Stuart Armstrong

According to the football transfer rumours in British Media, West Bromwich Albion are targeting Celtic midfielder Stuart Armstrong.

The Scotland international was signed by Celtic in February 2015 from Dundee United. The 25-year-old has a valid contract with Celtic until June 2018.

Since his arrival from Dundee United, Stuart Armstrong has scored 21 goals and provided 19 assists in 101 games for Celtic, including 15 goals and provided seven assists in 45 games in all competitions this season.

The 25-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in Scotland.

Stuart Armstrong has represented Scotland at Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 26 caps and scoring six goals, before making his senior international debut in March 2017. As a member of Scotland national football team, Stuart Armstrong has won only one cap.

There has been no movement on Stuart Armstrong agreeing a contract extension at Celtic, and he will be on the radar of many English clubs during the summer.

The Scotland international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of midfield player Tony Pulis wants to target in the summer transfer window.

Stuart Armstrong is a player who has impressed many Premier League clubs in the last few seasons, and it is understood that West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis would prefer playing him as a left midfielder.

Euro Football Rumours understood that West Bromwich Albion are preparing to offer in the region of 9 million euros for the Scotland international services in the summer transfer window.

Premier League club Everton are apparently trailing West Bromwich Albion in the pursuit of Celtic midfielder.
