Tottenham poised to land PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot

When it comes to the transfer market, Tottenham are simply one of the best in the business.

The reports in England suggested that Tottenham are poised to land Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

The 23-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.

The France international has one year left on his current contract which expires in 2019.

Rabiot has scored 22 goals in 207 games for Paris Saint-Germain since joining the club.

He’s incredibly experienced for a 23-year-old and still has tons of room for growth.

Rabiot has represented France at Under-16, Under-17, Under-18, Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 61 caps and scoring 6 goals, before making his senior international debut in November 2016. As a member of France national football team, Rabiot won six caps.

Given that his contract is expiring in 12 months and he has not yet signed an extension, the rumors have only heated up in recent weeks.

Tottenham have built a reputation for recruiting young talent from within Europe, predominantly targeting those with sell-on value and immense potential.

The report claims that Mauricio Pochettino manager has extensively scouted Rabiot and is considering a move for the midfielder.

According to The Sun, “Agent and mother Veronique has reportedly had meetings with Juventus, Manchester United and Manchester City. Rabiot is looking to leave PSG, the club he joined eight years ago, after apparently becoming disillusioned over his best position. The midfielder has just one year left on his current deal at the Parc des Princes club and is keeping his options open ahead of next season. Yet, Veronique has also sought out Spanish and Italian clubs, holding meetings with Barcelona and Juventus over her son’s future. Rabiot intends to meet with new PSG boss Thomas Tuchel to discuss his future, with the German coach reportedly wanting to build his team around Julian Draxler and Marco Verratti.”
