Tottenham and Arsenal eyeing Eibar centre-back Florian Lejeune

Eibar defender Florian Lejeune has emerged as a surprise target for Tottenham and Arsenal ahead of the summer transfer window.

Tottenham and Arsenal are eyeing Eibar centre-back Florian Lejeune, according to the football transfer rumours in Spanish Media.

Florian Lejeune has joined Eibar from Manchester City for a fee in the region of 1.5 million euros in July 2016. The 25 year-old has a valid contract with Eibar until the June 2020.

After his arrival from Manchester City, Florian Lejeune has scored one goal and provided one assists in 28 games for Eibar in all competition.

Lejeune has also represented France at Under-20 level, winning seven caps across all age groups and scoring one goal.

The 25-year-old is considered to be one of the best centre-backs in La Liga.

The France international has been in fantastic form for Los Armeros this season.

Florian Lejeune has been target of Mauricio Pochettino and Arsène Wenger as the managers look to bolster their defensive options for the next season.

According to the rumours in Spanish Media, Florian Lejeune has release clause in his contract in the region of 10.2 million euros.
