According to the football transfer rumours in Bosnia and Herzegovina Media, Toni Sunjic set to undergo Palermo medical ahead of move from VfB Stuttgart.

Toni Sunjic has moved to VfB Stuttgart from Kuban Krasnodar, on a three-year deal, for a fee in the region of 3 million euros in 2015.

Since his arrival from Kuban Krasnodar, Sunjic has scored four goals in 34 games for VfB Stuttgart, including two goals in 12 games in all competition this season.

The 28 year-old has also represented Bosnia and Herzegovina, winning 21 caps.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina International has been a long term target of Palermo, as the Sicilian club look to bolster their defensive options for the second part of the season.

Euro Football Rumours understands that Palermo are due to sell their midfielder Oscar Hiljemark to the Ukraine Club Dynamo Kiev for a fee in the region of 3 million euros, same price as they will buy Bosnia and Herzegovina central defender Toni Sunjic from VfB Stuttgart.

If the Palermo manager Eugenio Corini can get that sort of form out of Toni Sunjic form the period when he played for HSK Zrinjski Mostar, there’s obviously no doubt he has the caliber to be a star at the Sicilian club.
