Andros Townsend has represented England at Under-16, Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 18 caps, before making his senior international debut in October 2013. As a member of England national football team, Andros Townsend has won 13 caps and has scored 3 goals.

Adding a winger remains Stoke City’s top priority this summer and Mark Hughes will have drafted a shortlist of a number of possible targets he could approach in the coming weeks.

Mark Hughes is a long term admirer of Andros Townsend and believes he can get the most out of the England international.

Stoke City are in the market for just a handful of statement signings this summer who can improve the first-team.

The right winger can also play as a left winger, offering Mark Hughes a different option should he change his formation at Stoke City.

According to the report in British Media, Stoke City are preparing a 17.5 million euros bid for Andros Townsend to replace Marko Arnautovic.

How strong that interest is and whether Stoke City will make a summer move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
