Roma defender Norbert Gyomber loaned to Terek Grozny

Roma defender Norbert Gyomber has emerged as a surprise loan target for FC Terek Grozny after the January transfer window.

According to the football transfer rumours in Russian Media, Roma defender Norbert Gyomber is loaned to FC Terek Grozny.

Norbert Gyomber has joined AS Roma from Catania for a fee in the region of 1.5 million euros in 2016. The 24 year-old has a valid contract with Roma until June 2019.

Since his arrival from Catania, Norbert Gyomber has played only in 6 games for AS Roma in all competitions. From August 13, Gyomber was loanded to Pescara where he played 12 games this season.

Norbert Gyomber has represented Slovakia at Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 22 caps, before making his senior international debut in March 2014. As a member of Slovakian national team, Gyomber has won 16 caps.

Euro Football Rumours understood that the Slovakia international has lot of problems with Pescara manager Massimo Oddo, who was fired last week and that AS Roma officials decided to break the loan period with Pescara. One day after that AS Roma decided to loan Norbert Gyomber to Chechen football club Terek Grozny until the end of the season.
