Napoli interested in Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno

According to the football transfer rumours in German Media, Napoli are interesting in Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno.

The Germany international has joined Bayer Leverkusen from VfB Stuttgart for a fee in the region of 7.5 million euros in January 2012. The 25-year-old has a valid contract with Bayer Leverkusen until June 2020.

Since his arrival from VfB Stuttgart, Bernd Leno has conceded 329 goals and provided 88 clean sheets in 266 games for Bayer Leverkusen, including conceded 64 goals and provided 9 clean sheets in 42 games in all competitions this season.

The Germany international has been in impressive form for Bayer Leverkusen this season.

Bernd Leno has represented Germany at Under-17, Under-18, Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 28 caps, before making his senior international debut in May 2016. As a member of Germany national football team, Bernd Leno has won four caps.

The Germany international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of goalkeeper Maurizio Sarri wants to target in the summer transfer window.
