Middlesbrough tipped to sign Stoke City forward Bojan Krkic

According to the football transfer rumours in English Media, Middlesbrough are tipped to sign Stoke City’s forward Bojan Krkic.

Bojan Krkic has joined Stoke from Barcelona for a fee in the region of 1.8 million euros in the summer 2014. The 26 year-old has a valid contract with Stoke until June 2020.

Since his arrival from Barcelona, Krkic has scored 15 goals and provided three assists in 60 games for Stoke City, including four goals in 12 games in all competition this season.

The 26 year-old is not happy at Stoke City because of lack of first team football. Ex- Barcelona forward has played only 645 minutes for Stoke City in all competition this season.

Euro Football Rumours were informed that Middlesbrough want to bring new forward in January transfer window to improve their attacking options and that the Spain international is top of their list. Euro Football Rumours understands that Stoke are ready to sell their forward for a right price.

How strong that interest is and whether Middlesbrough will make a January move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
