Olympique Marseille are showing strong interest in Mario Balotelli.

According to the football transfer rumours in Italian media, Olympique Marseille will look to sign Nice striker Mario Balotelli.

The 27-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.

The Italy international joined Nice from Liverpool on a free transfer in August 2016. His contract expires in the summer of 2018.

Balotelli has played 66 times for Nice since signing from Liverpool, scoring 43 goals and creating three assists in that time.

The 27-year-old is considered to be one of the best strikers in Italy.

His record for Italy is also impressive. Balotelli has scored 14 goals in 35 matches for Italy at senior level.

His performances have seen him become the target of many European clubs including Olympique Marseille.

The Olympique Marseille manager has been impressed by his performances this season and could make a move in the summer transfer window.

Although Balotelli’s contract is due to expire on June 30, there are some clauses and options that mean he could cost several million Euro.”
