Manchester United will look to sign PSG winger Lucas Moura

Manchester United are reportedly one of many clubs keeping tabs on Brazil international Lucas Moura.

According to the football transfer rumours in British media, Manchester United will look to sign Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura.

The Brazil international joined Paris Saint-Germain from Sao Paulo for a fee in the region of 40 million euros in January 2013. His contract expires in the summer of 2019.

Since his arrival from Sao Paulo, Moura has scored 46 goals and provided 50 assists in 229 games for Paris Saint-Germain, including one goal and one assist in 6 games (79 minutes) in all competitions this season.

The 25-year-old is considered to be one of the best wingers in Brazil.

According to the report, Manchester United are closing in on Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura, after he was left out of the latest PSG squad, but the sticking point could be the fee. The French giants want 40 million euros for the Brazil international, but Manchester United are believed to be ready to offer half that. It is believed that the Red Devils only want Lucas to initially join on loan until the end of the season with an option of a permanent deal. Paris Saint-Germain are only interested in doing business upfront.

Lucas Moura is also being watched by Tottenham. The Londoners have made contact with Paris Saint-Germain for the winger, but only want to take him on-loan to the end of this season.

Signing the 25-year-old in January would be a masterstroke from Jose Mourinho.

A move away from Paris Saint-Germain is not only the best move for Moura, but also for the club.
