Manchester United chasing Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale
According to the football transfer rumours in Spanish Media, Manchester United are chasing Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale.
Gareth Bale has joined Real Madrid from Tottenham Hotspur for a fee in the region of 101 million euros in September 2013. The 27 year-old has a valid contract with Real Madrid until June 2022.
Since his arrival from Tottenham Hotspur, Gareth Bale has scored 67 goals and provided 51 assists in 149 games for Real Madrid, including nine goals and provided five assists in 26 games in all competitions this season.
The 27-year-old is considered to be one of the best wingers in the World.
Gareth Bale has represented Wales at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 21 caps and scoring four goals, before making his senior international debut in May 2006. As a member of Wales national football team, Bale has won 66 caps and has scored 26 goals.
The Wales international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of attacking player Jose Mourinho wants to target in the next transfer window.
Euro Football Rumours understood that Mourinho is desperate to land the Wales international. According to the rumours in the Spanish Media, Mourinho has already held talks with Real Madrid representatives about a move for Gareth Bale.
