Ceballos has scored two goals in 18 games for Real Madrid since joining the club.

The 21-year-old has long been touted as one of Spain’s most promising young talents.

Dani Ceballos has represented Spain at Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 35 caps and scoring six goals.

Adding a midfielder remains Liverpool’s priority this summer and Jürgen Klopp will have drafted a shortlist of a number of possible targets he could approach in the coming months.

Jürgen Klopp has always been a manager who keeps his eyes on the most talented young players across the globe.

According to Football Espana, “Liverpool are considering a move for Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos this summer to bolster their squad. Ceballos has started only two La Liga matches this season despite being fully fit and with injuries to Toni Kroos and Luka Modric, which have reportedly left him frustrated. The midfielder was linked to a return to Betis in January but due to his registration already changing once to a Spanish club in the season, such a move was blocked by La Liga.”

Real Madrid are not in a position where they need to sell and would like to keep hold of the midfielder, but right offer may force the club to consider a deal.

A move to Liverpool is exactly what Dani Ceballos needs to reignite his career, and we hope he is able to do just that.

It will be interesting to see what happens when Liverpool come calling for Ceballos in the summer.
