Liverpool preparing move for Roma winger Mohamed Salah

Liverpool are looking set to land Mohamed Salah after Italian Media (Quotidiano) revealed that they are in advanced negotiations with Roma ahead of a potential move this week.

 

 

The Egypt international has joined Roma from Chelsea for a fee in the region of 15 million euros in July 2016. The 25-year-old has a valid contract with Roma until June 2019.

Since his arrival from Chelsea, Mohamed Salah has scored 34 goals and provided 24 assists in 83 games for Roma, including 19 goals and provided 15 assists in 41 games in all competitions this season.

The Egypt international has been in outstanding form for Roma this season.

Mohamed Salah has represented Egypt at Under-20 level, winning 11 caps and scoring three goals, before making his senior international debut in September 2011. As a member of Egypt national football team, Mohamed Salah has won 53 caps and has scored 29 goals.

Having signed Salah for 15 million euros in the summer of 2016, to make a 20-25 million euros profit on the 25-year-old, without question, will be fantastic for Roma and is a good deal all round.

Mohamed Salah has been long term target of Jürgen Klopp as the manager look to bolster his offensive options for the next season.
