Liverpool and Chelsea linked with Inter Milan midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia
According to the football transfer rumours in French Media, Liverpool and Chelsea are linked with Inter Milan’s midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia.
The France international has joined Inter Milan from Monaco, for a fee of around 31 million euros on a five-year deal in 2015. He has a valid contract with Internazionale until June 2020.
Since his arrival from Monaco, Kondogbia has scored one goal and provided one assist in 42 games for Internazionale, including eleven games in all competition this season.
Kondogbia’s physical style of play would be perfect for Liverpool and Chelsea. The 23 year-old has provided 1.9 tackles per game, 1.5 interceptions per game, 1.8 dribbles per game and 86.2 pass success percentage in all competition this season.
The France International has been a long term target of Antonio Conte as the manager looks to bolster his midfield options.
Liverpool and Chelsea have already discussed a potential deal with Inter Milan representatives and could secure his services in January transfer window.
Euro Football Rumours were informed that Inter Milan valuate Geoffrey Kondogbia in the region of 30 million euros.
How strong that interest is and whether the Reds or the Blues will make a January move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
