Juventus surprisingly linked with Valencia’s Jose Gaya

When it comes to the transfer market, Juventus are simply one of the best in the business.

Juventus are reportedly one of many clubs keeping tabs on Spain international.

According to the football transfer rumours in Spanish media, Juventus are surprisingly linked with Valencia’s Jose Luis Gaya.

The Spain international joined Valencia in 2006. His contract expires in the summer of 2020.

Gaya has scored four goals in 121 games for Valencia since joining the club.

The 22-year-old has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in Spain.

Jose Luis Gaya has represented Spain at Under-17, Under-18, Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 28 caps and scoring two goals.

The Spain international has impressed in La Liga this season and is starting to attract the interest of bigger clubs.

Massimiliano Allegri wants to sign a new left-back and Gaya is one of the names at the top of his wishlist.

Juventus have built a reputation for recruiting young talent from within Europe, predominantly targeting those with sell-on value and immense potential.

The Spain international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of defensive player Massimiliano Allegri wants to target in the winter transfer window.

Jose Gaya has the talent to play many roles in defense. He would be a very good addition for Juventus and they can afford him as well.

According to the report, Juventus have settled on Valencia’s Jose Luis Gaya as a replacement for Alex Sandro after Faouzi Ghoulam renewed his contract with Napoli. Gaya’s form as Los Che have taken La Liga by surprise hasn’t gone unnoticed by Juventus and it’s claimed he has become the preferred option. However, enticing Valencia into selling isn’t expected to be easy, even though Juventus could offer a significant fee for the Spain international.
