Juventus looking to loan Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes

According to the football transfer rumours in Italian Media, Juventus are looking to loan Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes.

Andre Gomes has joined Barcelona from Valencia CF for a fee in the region of 35 million euros in July 2016. The 23 year-old has a valid contract with Barcelona until June 2021.

Since his arrival from Valencia CF, Andre Gomes has scored one goal and provided two assists in 36 games for Barcelona in all competitions this season.

The 23-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in Portugal.

Andre Gomes has represented Portugal at Under-17, Under-18, Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 37 caps and scoring seven goals, before making his senior international debut in September 2014. As a member of Portugal national football team, Gomes has won 18 caps.

The Portugal international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of midfield player Massimiliano Allegri wants to target in the next transfer window.

Euro Football Rumours understood that Juventus want loan transfer with the buying option after certain number of appearances.

How strong that interest is and whether Juventus will make a summer move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
