Inter will look to sign Roma defensive midfielder Daniele De Rossi
According to the football transfer rumours in Italian Media, Inter Milan will look to sign AS Roma defensive midfielder Daniele De Rossi.
Daniele De Rossi has joined AS Roma from Ostia Mare in 2000. The 33 year-old has a valid contract with AS Roma until June 2017.
Since his arrival from Ostia Mare, Daniele De Rossi has scored 56 goals and provided 51 assists in 557 games for AS Roma, including two goals and provided six assists in 36 games in all competitions this season.
The 33-year-old is considered to be one of the best defensive midfielders in Italy.
Daniele De Rossi has represented Italy at Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 23 caps and scoring three goals, before making his senior international debut in September 2004. As a member of Italy national football team, De Rossi has 112 caps and scored 20 goals.
The Italy international is a player who has impressed many European clubs in the last decade, and it is understood that Inter Milan manager Stefano Pioli would prefer playing him as a defensive midfielder.
Euro Football Rumours understood that Inter Milan have already offered the Italy international a two-year contact worth around 5.5 million euros per year.
