Fiorentina linked with fresh move for Davide Santon

Fiorentina are planning a move for Inter full-back Davide Santon.

It’s claimed by Italian media that Fiorentina are linked with fresh move for Davide Santon.

The Italy international joined Inter Milan from Newcastle United for a fee in the region of 3.7 million euros in July 2015. His contract expires in the summer of 2019.

Santon made 110 appearances across all competitions for Inter Milan, supplying five assists in return.

He is 27-year-old and has his peak years ahead.

Davide Santon has represented Italy at Under-16, Under-17, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 33 caps and scoring four goals, before making his senior international debut in June 2009. As a member of Italy national football team, Santon won eight caps.

The Italy international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of defensive player Stefano Pioli wants to target in the summer transfer window.
