Fiorentina agree deal with Nice midfielder Valentin Eysseric

Fiorentina are looking set to land Valentin Eysseric after Italian Media (TuttoMercatoWeb) revealed that they are in advanced negotiations with Nice ahead of a potential move this month.

The France international was signed by Nice in January 2013 from Monaco for a fee of 1.5 million euros. The 25-year-old has a valid contract with Nice until June 2018.

Eysseric has played 133 times for Nice since signing from Monaco, scoring 18 goals and creating 18 assists in that time.

The France international has been in impressive form for Nice last season.

Valentin Eysseric has represented France at Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 10 caps.

The midfielder’s contract at Nice is about to expire in 12 months and a number of clubs are said to be monitoring his situation, with Fiorentina showing the most concrete interest in an attempt to lure the player to their team.

According to the report in Italian Media, Fiorentina have already agreed terms with Valentin Eysseric but must raise their bid to 5 million euros for the France international.
