Fenerbahce looking to loan Everton star Kevin Mirallas

Everton winger Kevin Mirallas has emerged as a surprise target for Fenerbahce in the summer transfer window.

According to the football transfer rumours in British Media (Talk Sport), Fenerbahce are looking to loan Everton winger Kevin Mirallas.

The Belgium international has joined Everton from Olympiacos for a fee in the region of 8 million euros in August 2012. The 29-year-old has a valid contract with Everton until June 2020.

Kevin Mirallas made 177 appearances across all competitions for Everton, scoring 38 goals and supplying 32 assists in return.

The 29-year-old is considered to be one of the best wingers in Belgium.

The Belgium international has been in fine form for Everton last season.

Kevin Mirallas has represented Belgium at Under-16, Under-17, Under-18, Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 46 caps and scoring 20 goals, before making his senior international debut in August 2007. As a member of Belgium national football team, Kevin Mirallas has won 58 caps and has scored 10 goals.

Aykut Kocaman is keen to secure at least one more signing this summer, and Kevin Mirallas could very well be a man under consideration.

The Belgium international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of attacking player Kocaman wants to target in the summer transfer window.

Kevin Mirallas has been long term target of Aykut Kocaman as the manager look to bolster his attacking options for this season.

Fenerbahce are in the market for just a handful of statement signings this summer who can improve the first-team.

The Belgium international is a player who has impressed many European clubs in the last few seasons, and it is understood that Fenerbahce manager would prefer playing him as a right winger.

According to the report in British Media, Fenerbahce are closing in on completing a loan move for Everton outcast Kevin Mirallas. The Turkish giants have proposed a season-long loan deal with an option to buy included next summer and they are also prepared to stump up around 1 million euros.

How strong that interest is and whether Fenerbahce will make a summer move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
