Everton to make firm offer for Celtic prodigy Anthony Ralston

Celtic right-back Anthony Ralston has emerged as a surprise target for Everton in the winter transfer window.

According to the football transfer rumours in British Media (The Sun), Everton will make firm offer for Celtic right-back Anthony Ralston.

The Scotland international has joined Celtic in 2009. The 18-year-old has a valid contract with Celtic until June 2019.

Anthony Ralston made 8 appearances across all competitions for Celtic, scoring one goal and supplying two assists in return.

The 18-year-old is considered to be the best young right-back in Scotland.

Anthony Ralston has represented Scotland at Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 7 caps.

There has been no movement on Anthony Ralston agreeing a contract extension at Celtic, and he will be on the radar of many English clubs during the winter.

Ronald Koeman wants to sign a new right-back this winter and Anthony Ralston is one of the names at the top of his wishlist.

The report claims that Everton manager has extensively scouted Anthony Ralston and is considering a move for the right-back.

The Scotland international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of defensive player Ronald Koeman wants to target in January.

Everton will be desperate to make an impact in winter transfer window.

However, there is some talk that Ronald Koeman could rotate his players more this season as Everton look to compete on four fronts, so there could still be enough game time available for Anthony Ralston if he did make the move.
