His performances have seen him become the target of many European clubs including Crystal Palace.

The report claims that Crystal Palace manager has extensively scouted Kanon and is considering a move for the defender.

Hodgson is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him this winter.

Crystal Palace are in the market for just a handful of statement signings who can improve the first-team.

Wilfried Kanon has the talent to play many roles in defense.

According to The Sun, “Eagles boss Roy Hodgson is looking to bolster defensive options in January and the Ivory Coast stopper is high on his shopping list. Hodgson is looking to sure up the Eagles defence and is short of central defenders with the experienced Scott Dann still missing with a long-term knee injury. The 25-year-old has been earning rave reviews in the Dutch top flight this term and a host of clubs in England and Spain are on red alert.”
