AFC Ajax forward Daishawn Redan has emerged as a surprise target for Chelsea ahead of the summer transfer window.

According to the football transfer rumours in Holland Media, Chelsea are reported leading the chase for AFC Ajax forward Daishawn Redan.

Daishawn Redan has played only 58 minutes in three games for Ajax Under-17.

The 16-year-old is considered to be one of the most talented forwards in Netherlands.

Daishawn Redan has represented Netherlands at Under-15, Under-16 and Under-17 level, winning 26 caps across all age groups and scoring 19 goals.

The Ajax prodigy is thought to perfectly fit the profile of attacking player Antonio Conte wants to target in the next transfer window.

Chelsea aren’t the only ones who are reportedly interested in the 16-year-old. RB Leipzig, Manchester City, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are also thought to be tracking him.

How strong that interest is and whether Chelsea will make a summer move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
