According to the report, Bordeaux have made an approach to Newcastle United for striker Aleksandar Mitrovic. The Serbia international has also been discussed by West Bromwich Albion as manager Alan Pardew wants a forward ideally with Premier League experience. Newcastle want to recoup the 18.5 million euros they paid for Mitrovic so that the funds can be channeled into strengthening their own squad but Bordeaux are reluctant to pay that much. Mitrovic has made it clear he wants to leave himself as he remains on the periphery of the first team.
How strong that interest is and whether Bordeaux will make a winter move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
A move away from Newcastle United is not only the best move for Aleksandar Mitrovic, but also for the club.
