Barcelona are preparing 29 million euros summer swoop for Southampton right-back Cedric Soares, according to the football transfer rumours in Portuguese Media.
Cedric Soares has joined Southampton from Sporting CP for a fee in the region of 5.5 million euros in July 2015. The 25 year-old has a valid contract with Southampton until the June 2020.
After his arrival from Sporting CP, Cedric Soares has provided three assist in 50 games for Southampton in all competition.
Cedric Soares has also represented Portugal at Under-16, Under-17, Under-18, Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 72 caps across all age groups and scoring only one goal. Since October 2014, Sanches is a member of Portugal national football team, winning 15 caps.
The 25-year-old is considered to be one of the best right-backs in Portugal.
After winning the EURO 2016 with Portugal national football team, Soares has been in fantastic form for Southampton this season.
Cedric Soares has been long term target of Barcelona as the team look to bolster their defensive options for the next season.
